Jack should be suspicious by nature, but he'd made a conscious effort to be a bit more trusting, to change himself from his older version, and as all the memories of his other life had faded a little bit and he had instead thrown himself into being a teenager again, he'd gotten pretty good at giving people the benefit of the doubt more often than not.

Which was why, when he landed an amazing internship opportunity via the school, he didn't think anything of it. If anything he would expect the air force or the sgc to be behind it, maybe somewhere the colonel was taking care of his clone. Whatever the reason, he was pretty psyched to be here, he found these days that he actually quite enjoyed learning, maybe it was because it was easier now he was younger, with all the adult him's existing knowledge as a base, or maybe it's because he really is a different person. Either way, he's looking forward to this.

He smiles at the woman as he enters the room, crossing over to her quickly and holding her hand out.

"Ms Preston? Jack O'Neill, thank you so much for this opportunity ma'am."
